Philippians 4:13

" I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me" What is your story? As a Christian we should be ready to tell our story of what made us realize that we needed Christ? Where were you spiritually before you gave your life to Christ? Do you have a desire to grow spiritually? We must first ask Jesus to forgive our sins and then ask Jesus to come into our life and transform us into the Christian that He wants us to be. We must realize we need Him to lead us and we should be willing to follow. Do you doubt that you are a Christian? The doubt is something of Satan, be always ready to walk in the Light. As a Christian are you using the spiritual gifts that you have been given? When you follow God it will be difficult but God will stay faithful. Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me." Lots of things to think about with this sermon.... Love and prayers, Ann

Are you the person Jesus called you to be?

This is a recent sermon that I wanted to share my notes: People of passion are fulfilling the Great Commission. Do you feel passion or excitement? What do you live your life for? Do you embrace the big picture? Do you realize our life on earth is only temporary? Do you realize our relationships at the end of our life will be the most important, so strive to have a personal relationship with Christ. Don't let the "pickers" take away your joy. Do you know people that collect the "injustices" in their life and dwell on the negative or do you find the positive aspect of your life. Surround yourself with positive people. Through death, personal tragedy, health issues, and sorrow we learn to make a life that is based on the promises that God has made so we can also have the joy. A person of passion must recognize that Jesus is the only way we can get to Heaven. People of passion grow spiritually and transform into the image of God, become more like Jesus and be transformed. Are you hungry to grow spiritually? Be a good listener and be positive as you become more like Jesus and with confidence you can share the good news that God is in control. All we have to do is trust and obey the Living Word. God provides the Light so we can follow. When we are in darkness and your world seems out of control follow the Light. A person of passion loves one another and will be known as God's disciple. We are to love even the people that seem unworthy of being loved. Loving people can hurt but keep loving the people that hurt you. Minister the best you can with unconditional love. Endure the pain because of the joy of eternal life that is promised. Remember last words are important words, read Acts 1:8 and know you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit to lead you and help you become the person that Jesus has called you to be.

HONESTY..Sin and Flesh

Honesty is not only the Best policy it is the ONLY policy for a child of GOD. May we not boast or brag of what we will do in the flesh.May we be humble and submissive of the LORD...If only we could always have the proper view of SIN,perhaps we would SHUN it more Our Sin is what caused our LORD to die on the cross To follow CHRIST you have to watch CHRIST,not other Christians

Trust The Lord

When the unexpected occures;whatever that may be,we often face a period of shock, disbelief,or discouragement.Rather than sink into despair,we should learn to turn to Gods word and wait patiently on the LORD to give us the answere in HIS time and in HIS way

When Someone Stumbles Help Them Gal 6:1

Paul writes:If anyone is caught in any trespass you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness Note the word...Caught.. Most of us who stumble thought at one time That will never happen to me But it did in a moment of weakness we yielded to evil When this happens to someone in Gods family we have a responsibility to restore them regardless of the nature of the sin In this Scripture this word ..Restore has medical overtones It pictures a physician resetting a broken limb..To restore someone scripturally we must ( 1) Help them to acknowledge their failure After his affair with Bathsheba David prayed I have sinned and done what is evil in your sight..Psalms 51:4 (2) Help them to accept responsibility for their sin Even though someone else may have been a contributing factor we are still accountable to GOD (3) Help them to repent Repentance involves deep remorse turning away from there SIN and moving in a new direction.(4)Help them to make restitution..For example someone who has done wrong needs to make amends when possible.(5) Help them to grow stronger through it Through failure GOD teaches us lessons that keep us from wandering into similar situations in the future..(6) Help them to respond to Gods correction with gratitude granted this is not easy but when a person comprehends GODS purpose in such discipline that we might share in his holiness..Heb.12:10 they begin to thank their heavenly Father for His loving correction Indeed it protects them from any root of bitterness springing up in the aftermath of SIN

3/5/11 Wedding Day

Know the whole truth and tell it in Love EPH..4:15

I heard this and wanted to share the title of the message was Tell The Whole Truth
A teen who,d just gotten his drivers license told his parents he was meeting his buddies at a local restaurant. But this particular restaurant had several locations and he drove to one sixty miles away. They say What you dont expose will expose you Unfortunatly his parents went shopping in that area the same evening Imagine his thoughts when he stopped at an intersection looked over and saw his mom giving him that look parents reserve for the worst offenses We need to keep everything we do and say out in the open the whole truth on display 2 Corinthians 4:2 speak the plain unembellished truth so people dont have to read between the lines or look for hidden meanings 2 Corinithians 1:13 These are statements we instinctively dis believe like The check is in the mail...the puppy wont be any trouble...I wont tell anybody Then there are lies so clever they sound like the truth Eph 4:14 For example we want to be the good guy so we leave out information that might put us in a bad light or to avoid upsetting somebody we stretch the truth one Bible teacher writes Solving problems in a relationship is one of the most important skills youll ever learn It makes for a successful famiky life..career..education and social life Unless we have these skills well never be truly happy Whenyou have a problem with someone state it in a gentle positive way If you dont start right youll have little hope of ending right So grow up...know the whole truth and tell it in LOVE

Understanding the Living Word of God

. The scripture is from Joshua 1:8 and Isaiah 41:10 First we should read God’s Word, the living word. Meditation, think about the Word, seek an understanding of the Word. Ask questions if you do not have a clear understanding. This will help us because it will quiet the spirit, purify your heart, sharpen your perception, you will be getting God’s viewpoint, it will help us to be strong and gives us courage, and it will increase your faith. Without God’s Word we suffer from doubt, fear and disbelief. In Isaiah 41:10 “ Do not fear for I am with you.” What comfort that should bring to all that believes. We are weak but we can develop courage, God’s Word becomes our compass to guide us. We should recall God’s faithfulness and observe the courage of others while they are struggling and the outcome. We will then gain confidence in the living Word of God. With God’s word we have faith, trust and courage and we are able to stay focused and trust and obey. We gain peace, joy, and contentment by living a Godly life. God’s promise to us “ I will be with you. I will not fail you. I will comfort you.” Stay focused on the love of God to gain strength and wisdom. This is my notes from a recent message, I hope it gives encouragement to all that reads it. Love and prayers, Ann
