This is a picture of Aunt Dorothy Hoosier with her grandson Leonard Hoosier.

Dorothy Lee Bailey Hoosier, born July 22,1928 and entered her eternal life at 2:oopm on December 31,2011. She is the daughter of Nelson and Edith Bailey. Children include: Sharon Warner, Dennis Hoosier, Algie Hoosier, Dan Hoosier, Audrey Nelson, Leonard Hoosier and Katherine Smoot. Her siblings are Charles Bailey,Evylene Marcum, Sylvia Osborne, Chester Bailey, May Lilly, Sesco Bailey, Hansford Bailey, Hilda Bailey, Maxine Blevins, Earl and Harold Bailey, Frankie and Phyllis Bailey, Christine Bailey and Beatrice George.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

As this year comes to an end I just wanted to say it has been a rough year in many ways, the loss of Wilma Hoosier and Prather Osborne and our dear dog, Chance. We have been blessed by the birth of Cameron Osborne last December 6th, Shawn David on January 21, Aniyah on February 17th, Lucas Joyce on March 28th and KC Gibson on June 8. We also gained Natasha Osborne when she married Michael Osborne on March 5. We continue to grow as we welcome a new baby boy for LeAnn and Justin, a new great grandchild for Aunt Bea and a new great grandchild for my sister Norma. Norma would be so happy to get another baby to love. We should look at 2012 as a year of opportunity and we should take the opportunity to make our family a place of peace and happiness, joy and laughter. I pray God will pour His blessings on each and every one of you and you feel the peace that knowing God personally will bring. Happy New Year and expect many blessings in the coming year.

Clifford, Karen, Brian and Raelee stopped by to visit during their November visit to West Virginia. I am always glad to see Clifford and was especially glad to meet little Raelee. It had been 15 years since I saw Brian and he looked the same.

God's Will

As much as you want to plan your life, it has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that will make you happier than you originally planned. That is what you call GOD'S WILL......I saw this and thought I would share with you.

Holiday Gathering

It is one short week until the family gathering in Auburn at the Baptist church. Remember if you are going to give your Christmas cards out and save postage, have them ready to go when you get there. That way you will have time to talk and reconnect with family and friends. We are still waiting to see if Santa will be able to come for a short visit in the afternoon. Can't wait to see everyone.

Faith

"Faith in God's Grace allows God to work miracles through ordinary unqualified people if we trust and obey His direction." I heard this on the radio this morning coming to work and it spoke to me. Have a blessed day my friends.

Holiday Gathering

Just a reminder about December 10, 2011, our holiday gathering in Auburn,WV. The theme is Italian Feast but make whatever you want and bring enough to share. I have the paper products and will make tea. I am trying to talk Santa into stopping by even for just a few minutes. I know he has a very busy schedule but Freman especially wants to talk to him. It is a time of fellowship and to share a meal together. We need to make the effort because you never know who will not be with us this time next year. It has been a year since Tockie, Lawrence and Jerry passed and just a few weeks since we lost Wilma. Our journey here is short so make the effort to come and share time with the rest of us. Remember that when you choose to forgive you allow yourself to live "free". You can not change the past but you can make an effort to make today and your future the very best without regrets. Winter Reunion

Just wanted to update the family reunion information. The Holiday gathering will be December 10,2011. This year our food is everything for an Italian feast. So you can let your imagination run wild from pasta, spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, we will need salad, rolls or crusty Italian loaf, drinks and a few desserts. You have time to think about it.
