Shirley, Larry, and Tommy took Mom fishing for about 5 hours on Monday at Burnsville. Larry is her fishing partner, he baits her hook and cast for her and mom caught 5 fish. I believe Shirley and Tommy had success too. I love when Mom can get out of the house. Larry is planning their next fishing trip as we speak. Mom so loves fishing. I think she would go every day. She really likes Larry's boat. I love you Mom!!! Vickie

REUNION UPDATE

Yet another update for the Reunion: If you choose,we will be having a taste testing at the reunion, this includes recipes you submitted to the cookbook and food that you bring the recipe for to the reunion. I need to know what recipe you will be bringing to be tested. We will have Meat/Main dish, Vegetables/ Casserole, and Desserts. We will have 1st place winner, 2nd place winner and 3rd place in each division and the person with the most votes will be crowned King/ Queen of the Kitchen. Example: Aunt May has already told me she will be bringing Chicken & Dumplings, the Meat/Main dish and Ritz cracker Casserole for the Vegetable/ Casserole. So, Aunt May could win in two divisions and be crowned Queen of the Kitchen!!!! So let me know what you intend to bring and if you want to be considered for prizes. I think this could be lots of fun and could give the people that forgot about the cookbook a chance to bring their recipe and dish to be in the running for some great prizes and a crown....Also, remember the auction items to raise money to pay the rental of the building for next year and remember the cookbooks. I do have extra cookbooks if you didn't order or need additional ones. I took LeAnn and Shawn's to them yesterday and LeAnn laughed so hard reading some of the recipes, and Shawn was glad to have my No-Bake cookies and cheesecake recipes. FAMILY REUNION

The annual family reunion will be July 10,2010 in Glenville, WV. We will gather anytime after 10:00am and will try to eat around Noon. Come and talk to everyone and help get things lined up for the party. If you sent a recipe for the cookbook and are coming to the reunion, please make one of your recipes so we can have a tasting party to go along with the cookbook. If you need your cookbook mailed please let me know with your current address enclosed. The cookbooks are $6.00 each and postage add $3.00. I will get them mailed as soon as I get your information. For the most part I plan on passing them out at the reunion. I took some to work with me today and sold 20 at work, I was so surprised at the interest in our family cookbook. I guess people love cookbooks. I am so looking forward to getting together, please pass the word to all that you think might be interested. With love and prayers for peace for your family. Edith Ann
