Other Sisters

Thought I would let everyone know that I have two adopted sisters. My dad adopted them about 5 years ago. They are 10 and 11 years old. For privacy reasons, I will not list their names. This was taken at Christmas 2007.

I can't believe it has been 4 months already since LeAnn and Justin got married. Happy Anniversary, I thought I would share some pictures of the wedding

These pictures were taken at the Reunion in Glenville in July. Aunt May and Mom, Aunt May, Junior and Chester Bailey, Amber Mollett( Norma's grand-daughter) and Madeline McCune and Connie Mills. More pictures to follow, I think there was about 100 people attending, if you missed this year try to plan for next year( 2nd Saturday in July in Glenville)

My niece, Connie Osborne Mills is celebrating her birthday today ,the 18th and her grand-daughter Fallen Carter is celebrating tomorrow the 19th. Charlene Skidmore and Junior Bailey celebrate on the 24th and James Bailey the 25th, Bobby Bailey on the 27th, Ryan Ward the 28th, Janet Blevins on the 30th and my sister Shirley Wolfe ends the month on the 31st along with Andrew Blevins and Sadie Blevins. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to everyone that is celebrating this month.

Save the Alamo!!

This is my latest "family" pic. We are at the Alamo in Texas. From left to right...my mother-n-law, Sara, me, Katie, Amber, Chris, Lorien and Loretta and a new granddaughter due Dec. 2nd. This was taken on June 24th. We are doing well. Amber is going to Berea College in Kentucky next week. Lorien is being homeschooled and would have started public school this fall. She has proven to be a good student thus far as she is already reading. Thanks for asking, Aunt Bea. Hope you and yours are doing well :)

Name this flower?

My dad had these flowers growing along his driveway and they smelled wonderful. The bees and butterflies were in heaven. Does anyone know what they are called? I was going to post a video of Madeline and Sharon at the Sock Hop but I accidently saved it to a jpeg image and it is gone. But the good news is that I found my mistake and didn't do the same thing to my vacation pics I just took this weekend. You saved my memories Aunt Edith by inviting me to post on the blog Sunday - thanks.

A couple August Birthdays

MY Great Nephew- Devan Elkins August 7th, Sister-Janet Collins (Blevins) August 30th and Nephew- Andrew Blevins August 31st, I wish them all a very Happy Birthday and the Best of Wishes. I love you all. The same goes for anyone else that has Birthdays this month, just off the top of my head I can only think of Craig Gibson and Shirley Wolfe, I know there's more. I read Aunt Bea's note that she sent, to her I just want to say hello and I hope all is well and that I missed her at the re-union. I Love you Aunt Bea. Peace and love to everyone.

Hello, Well I was beginning to think I am going to have to rename the blog to Aunt Bea and Edith

conversations. Come on guys I know you have stuff to add too. On August 12 Darlene and Wayne will celebrate their 1 month anniversary. Chelsea is waiting for her Dad

Just heard from the boys, they should be home around midnight if everything goes well. I think Shawn could keep camping but Mark wants to sleep in his own bed tonight and he misses his little girl. Chelsea will be all over him when he gets here tonight and I am so ready to turn over all potty breaks to him for the next week!!!
