Labor Day 2008
Hey everyone, Are we getting lazy or are we so busy there is no time to Blog? Me, Mark, Shawn and Chelsea went to Huntington to see LeAnn and Justin. Justin grilled, chicken, ribs and steak sooooo good!!!! I made the kids favorite Apple Harvest Cheesecake, also took LeAnn so good peaches. Our bag of peaches were perfect and I hope she enjoys hers too. The day was perfect, the sky was so blue but a little warm, 92 degrees. Hope to hear from more people out there. What did you do for Labor Day?

We were going to go camping on the parkway but it looked like rain so we decided to pitch tent in yard. But before we got home from church, Chris did something to his back and he could hardly move, so we stayed inside and had dinner with his mom the next day.
sunshine1966I had to work that weekend so we did nothing.
For thows that didn't hope everyone had a nice labor day.
Sounds like Aunt Ann enjoyed the day. LOVE YOU Connie
Hi All, we didn't do anything special just stayed home after I gave Evylene a shower and got her fixed up for the day. Richard talked to his family, Wilma had to be admitted to the hospital for several days. Jennifer and the kids came down for a few days. She(Jennifer) and her family are moving to Tennessee, and I'm really heartbroken about that so, please, please everyone keep her and the kids in your prayers.
Hi Edie, I would like to have the recipe for the Apple Harvest Cheesecake. I was talking to Aunt May about it and it sounds soooooo yummy. If you have any more great recipes send them along as well. I'm always looking for new and unusual dishes to try out. Richard really likes desserts with apples or peaches in them.
