Friday ramblings
Dear family and friends, As I was driving to work on Friday morning I was listening to my regular radio station 91.9 John and Sherry. There was lots of good music and then a speaker came on and was talking how we try to play " Let's make a deal" with Christ. We may be going through something really tough and instead of taking our concerns and needs to Christ and leave them there and believe He will answer our prayers, we start this" God if you do this then I will do this" and" God if you are real you will do this and this for me and then I will fully trust you" but we don't have to do anything but trust and believe because Christ proved His love for us. He did it all at Calvary!!!! All we have to do it accept Him and trust and obey and feel the peace and joy of knowing a man like Jesus...It was very powerful as I was facing a hard day at work and ending a long stressful week. You know Friday also was the first day of spring and we should be reminded that just like we know in the spring the flowers will come again and everything will be fresh and new again that should also be a reminder that Jesus will come again just as He promised. Love and prayers, Edith

i guess we are all guilty of making deals with god. and sometimes he comes through but we don't. and i think it is better not to make acommitment than to make it and not keep it.
and taking your problems to the lord and leaving them there. i take them to him all the time but if he doesn't fix them right away i try, and make a mess of them i have never learned how to take them to him and leave them there.
I'm guilty too a long time ago ,i don't do it any more as i've got older & learned how to pray to God for my needs Or a pray request & I belive in God's Wordes Take Matthew 18:19 & 20 for inesten for healing, Thats why i call everybody to pray for some one & I Praise God Most of the time the Prayer is answered & if God doesn't answer it. It's ok Our God knowes best I've learned to trust in him more then myself, Aunt May you Aunt Bee & Ann are a Blessing to Me I thank God for you all I send my LOVE & PRAYERS, Madeline
