It is never too late to ask for forgiveness.

I got a mystery letter in the mail on July 5,2012. It started out that we did not know him but he wanted to explain what he had done 27 years ago and he wanted us to forgive him. The first year we lived in our house a lot of stuff happened and you just had to wonder why would people treat other people like this. Our 2 year old daughter's pumpkin was smashed on the side walk and then Christmas came and we had put up lights everywhere to make Christmas extra special for our daughter. She loved looking at Christmas lights. Well the second night they were on and the next morning they were all gone. Had been removed, all of them! I felt so betrayed by our new neighbors, someone had to know who was doing these deeds to us, by why us? Well the letter tried to explain why three boys got together and decided to remove the lights. They hid them for awhile but then discarded them, just tossed them away. He said he has felt guilty all these years and was sorry about his part in all this, he named the other two boys involved. He wanted to pay for his crime and asked us to come up with the dollar value of our loss and he wanted to know we could forgive him for his actions. Well, what he didn't know was we had forgiven him years ago because we live for a God of justice, peace and love. Our God would want us to forgive him because He first had forgiven us of our sins.

we must forgive others if we plan to go to heaven. and i do believe this person has accepted christ into his life or his wrong doing would not be bothering him after all these years and it is never to late to ask for gorgiveness.
