We have lost yet another member of our family, on Friday January 20, 2012 at 8:15 am in the morning Dan passed into his eternal life. Dan was born July 25, 1953 and was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Hoosier, grandson of the late Nelson and Edith Bailey. Husband of the late Wilma George Hoosier and father of Stephanie Hoosier. He is the grandfather of Christopher Hoosier, Johnnesa and Desirae Crouch. Dan was a brother to Sharon Warner, Dennis, Algie,and Leonard Hoosier and Katherine Smoot and Audrey Nelson.Most of Dan's life was a direct result of the Buffalo Creek accident that flooded his family home as a young man. Dan worked in the Postal service and enjoyed the ministry for many years. Dan will be missed by his family and friends. Services will be Monday, January 23, 2012 at 1:00pm at Leonard's Funeral Home in Marmet.
That was a good picture of Granny Edith & Dan & Wilmas family & Sharon & Jim he had aged quit a bit when i saw him last Im so glade I got to help him with his plate that day at the reunion & meet his GrandSon. your rite u dont know witch one of us will be nixe we dont have to be old for God to call us home. Happy reunion with Jesus Dan we will miss u n our Family Circle down here on earth.We Pray to meet agine n Family Circle n Heaven.
So many are gone, God's kingdom has to be so much brighter with them all there. I'll always miss them while I'm down here and of a sound mind. Only the good Lord knows what lays ahead of us.
