Are you the person Jesus called you to be?
This is a recent sermon that I wanted to share my notes: People of passion are fulfilling the Great Commission. Do you feel passion or excitement? What do you live your life for? Do you embrace the big picture? Do you realize our life on earth is only temporary? Do you realize our relationships at the end of our life will be the most important, so strive to have a personal relationship with Christ. Don't let the "pickers" take away your joy. Do you know people that collect the "injustices" in their life and dwell on the negative or do you find the positive aspect of your life. Surround yourself with positive people. Through death, personal tragedy, health issues, and sorrow we learn to make a life that is based on the promises that God has made so we can also have the joy. A person of passion must recognize that Jesus is the only way we can get to Heaven. People of passion grow spiritually and transform into the image of God, become more like Jesus and be transformed. Are you hungry to grow spiritually? Be a good listener and be positive as you become more like Jesus and with confidence you can share the good news that God is in control. All we have to do is trust and obey the Living Word. God provides the Light so we can follow. When we are in darkness and your world seems out of control follow the Light. A person of passion loves one another and will be known as God's disciple. We are to love even the people that seem unworthy of being loved. Loving people can hurt but keep loving the people that hurt you. Minister the best you can with unconditional love. Endure the pain because of the joy of eternal life that is promised. Remember last words are important words, read Acts 1:8 and know you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit to lead you and help you become the person that Jesus has called you to be.
