WORSHIP
We had another good message about worship. The question was “Why do we worship and how do we worship”? He said we worship to have a relationship with Jesus. To feed our soul, to strengthen us and lift our spirit. We worship by reading the truth found in the Bible. We get instruction in the Word of God and we can believe the living Word of God. We must have the word of God hidden in our heart so we know the truth. We must know the will of God not our will. We are to carry on the Great Commission and together we gain strength and to protect us. No Christian has been called to “go it alone” We all need one another to love one another, to comfort, to forgive, to show kindness and patience. We worship to fellowship with a body of believers that share your beliefs and to be held accountable. How do we worship; sing, praises to the Lord, pray, read the Bible and use our spiritual gifts. This is just a brief note of the sermon and it was good.

It sounds like your pastor has a very good understanding of what it takes to have a close personal relationship with Christ. I really love it when you post the sermons on the blog, keep it coming. I love every morsel that can gleam from them. Love You, Aunt Bea
