PRAYER AT WORK

P.R.A.Y, do you know how to pray? Do you know God wants us to keep in touch with Him! You can never become all that God has planned for your life until you develop a prayer life. Talk directly to God, first give praise, show that you adore your Father and give thanks ( Psalm 5:3); second repent, we are all sinners and fall short( I John 1: 9-10). This is not a " forgive me of all my sins", our Father wants you to admit the sin that will keep you from Him because if you admit it and claim it then you will know you can not keep up your old ways. Next ask, ( James 4:2) our Father wants us to ask and believe that all we have is because God has blessed us. Then yield to God, have quiet time with the Father of the universe. Are you guilty of treating your prayer life as a genie in a bottle? When you need something, that is when you remember to pray but you only ask, ask and ask for this and that. How do you respond when God says NO to your request, or at least the answer is" not yet"? Do you respond to prayer in a need only basis? We just kinda put God on the back burner until we realize we are over our head? Or do you use God and prayer as a 9-1-1, this is an emergency or do you try to negotiate with God? Hey, God if you do this and this for me then I will do this in return. God already knows your needs and God does not need any favors from you, all He wants is a relationship with you. It is a fact that prayer is a decision and we must plan to pray and stay in contact with our heavenly Father. All He wants is for us to desire Him to live in our hearts and to understand the purpose of His love for each and every one of us. This is a recent Bible study that we had and I wanted to share it with all that wanted to read it. God is so good and I am so blessed. Love and prayers, Edith

Ann,
I really enjoy your Sunday School lesson on Prayer at work. I myself pray every where at home,at work, going to work, coming home from work,I'm always praying for some one or something. Keep the Sunday School lesson coming because I'm asleep when everyone at church sence I work from 3pm on Saturday to 7:30 am Sunday morning
so I don't get to attend Sunday School so when I get to read your Sunday School lesson I get a little part of Sunday School.

Thank You
Darlene

Sis, I am glad someone finally read the lesson. I was beginning to think I was the only one that needed an update on my prayer life and how important talking to our Father is. I found it very interesting and just get excited to share what I learn, because I can always improve "me" first. You know some people have never known the love and understanding from an earthly father so it is very hard for them to understand the love and patience of our heavenly Father. Love and prayer, Ann
