it gets flowers first then leafs I did not no that
my sister in-law (Kim) gave it to me and I planted it thinking it was a butterfly bush. I love this now that I no to look for the flowers first. LOL

Connie you are the winner!!! You posted the 79th Blog in 2009, the same that was posted in 2008 from July to December. YEAH!!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the Blog but if you have a better idea then maybe we can try something else. We will see what the future holds.
Connie if you want the Wisteria to bloom more you need to cut the long arms off during the growing season. It will stay more compact and I think mine blooms more. You are right it blooms first and then the leaves come and then all the new growth ( which I cut off mine)
I didn't know that there was a purple Wisteria I thought that it only came in yellow. I like the purple the best, I'll bet if it were mixed it would be pretty too. Thanks for the tip about cutting it back to get it to bloom more I'm going to try it.
Now what is the odd chances of that. I don't have a better Idea I think this is just fine. Why do you say that are you planning a change? I hope not.
and
what did I win? LOL
Do I start trimming nowt as the new grow?
Love You.
The time is wrong on this blog I sent the note before this one at 8:35pm. The date is right
Connie, you trim the new growth as it comes on. I carry my snips with me and cut the skinny new branches off as they come on . It is an on going process. This is what works for me, that is all I know for sure.Love, Aunt Ann
