I would love to have some of these yellow flowers that spread like crazy. Especially if they like the shade. I think your purple ground cover looks like adjuca(not sure of spelling). Thanks for sharing.

It is called Ajuga or Carpet Bugle it is in the Mint Family.

I enjoyed your flowers very much. I would love to have some pretty flowers that would multiply, and come back year after year.

is the Trout lily a good flower around a pond if so i'll take some if you are thining them out.

The trout lily likes moist shaded area with a lot of good compost like leaves chopped up to retain the moisture. The yellow flower dries up and a seed pod comes on and it is amazing the next spring all the baby trout lily you have. Of course it will take a few years before they get as big as mine that plant in the picture with yellow bloom is about 10 years old. I am glad you enjoyed.
