Grannie Edith
November 7, 1996 was the day Grannie Edith got to see Jesus. As we celebrate her homecoming 12 years ago, just remember a special time that you shared with her and cherish the memory. I am so thankful that I had Grannie Edith in my life, especially as a Christian woman to show an example
of what walking in the Light was supposed to be. You know if we still had her with us she would turn 100 in January 2009. I love you and miss you, Grannie

I remember that day so very well. I may not remember a lot of things now, but that day is etched in my memory for ever. It is still with a heavy heart, but a glad spirit that I recall her leaving this plane and going to that heavenly one. I suppose one of my fondest memories of mom is that she always called me Susie-Q after the song came out Wake Up Little Susie. Also, the way that I would lay my head in her lap, and she would stroke my hair while we would talk. I have a million memories of Mom, these are only a couple of them that leaped to my mind.
i have to many memories to try ro express them all, but i still miss her verry much.
